In this day and age of everything being virtual why not have a virtual chapel where you can light a votive candle online so that your intentions are remembered during a Mass. This is exactly what Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has done on their site virtualchapel.crs.org.
It is a great way for CRS to bring people to their website to get more information about the great work that they do and if you want to light a votive candle there is one catch… that you have to give CRS some contact information. Don’t worry there is a box that you can uncheck to avoid getting on the CRS mailing list if you would like.
